Ode to Storms old

Ode to Storms

I believe that even in the most chaotic and turbulent moments, there is a moment of stillness and serenity that can be captured by the camera. This is why I seek to showcase the majesty of nature and its ability to evoke a sense of awe and wonder in us.

My goal is to convey a mixture of emotions through my work, from the initial sense of danger and menace that a storm can bring, to the awe-inspiring calm and beauty that can be found in the aftermath. I believe that these contrasting emotions can coexist and create a complex and meaningful experience for the viewer.

I hope that my images inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world, and that they encourage viewers to seek out these moments of beauty and serenity for themselves.

There is peace even in the storm

“Can you hear it??

….If there is a storm at sea does it make a sound ?

Strom at La Perouse”

My interpretation of escaping something turbulent into calm waters.

“Resting and Admiring”This photograph was taken in Milford Sound, New Zealand. I just saw the little bird admiring the storm and I realised that I was just doing the same.
