Vintage lens: Olympus OM Zuiko 100mm f2.8
Welcome,
This is my first test with the Olympus OM Zuiko lenses, they are all very small light and they feel very well built. The 100mm 2.8 is only 230g and 50mm in length the filter thread is 49mm.
This is a very affordable lens, price is normally around $100aud the bokeh of the lens is pleasant to me but that is very subjective opinion everybody likes different bokeh. What is not subjective is this lens is sharp at f8 and competent from wide open. It suffers from Loca at all openings but that is easily fix in post. My version is multicoated and it offer fair flair and ghosting resistance but in difficult situations it will flare.
On the Fujigfx 100s performs very well it doesn’t vignette as you would be able to see on the sample photos I also tested the Lens on a Fujigfx 50r converted to infrared at 720nm I couldn’t get the lens to hotspot I will continue to test this and I will update this post if I found any hot spotting.
The following images where all taken on a tripod at iso 100 with 2sec delay. No post have been done to any of the photos and they where taken using the full medium format sensor.
